Out of the Blue Singers

Out of the Blue Singers move into double figures in 2011. Happy 10th birthday to us…..and what a journey it has been! We have been polished, re-positioned, coached, and eased into developing movement skills beyond our wildest dreams. What an achievement! We recently competed in the Sweet Adelines Region #34 Convention in Newcastle and were pleased with our overall result. We sang our hearts out in all manner of venues and celebrated in style!

All of who we are was made possible by our wonderfully knowledgeable, meticulous, spontaneous and creative directors, Janette Green and Vonny Winning (2006-current), Jan Gervais (2006) and Rose McGee (2001–2005), the various coaches that have worked with us over the years, and the wonderfully talented women who rehearse, perform and give of their time to create The Out of the Blue Singers.

We have performed on many stages for many reasons with wonderful outcomes. Our most enduring commitment has been to International Women’s Day Events where we have celebrated women with song and music since 2002. Other performances include Viva La Gong, Variety Shows, Concerts, Fund Raising events, the stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar, and the Sweet Adelines National Competitions.
